What you need

  • 2 Weetabix
  • 200g of tinned custard
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 80g chopped pineapple (tinned or fresh)
  • A handful roasted chopped hazelnuts
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1 drizzle of store-bought salted caramel sauce (or honey if you can’t find it!)

What to do

  • Cut your banana lengthways and coat in sugar.
  • Fry them in a dash of oil until golden-brown.
  • Whilst you wait for the banana to turn golden, heat half a tin of custard in a saucepan on a low heat and stir regularly.
  • Put two Weetabix in a bowl, cover with the hot custard and add the caramelised banana, adding a drizzle of your salted caramel sauce (or honey if you prefer).
  • Top off with chunks of pineapple, roasted chopped hazelnuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
