Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) apply to The Chase x Weetabix, Have you had yours? promotion (the ‘Promotion’). You will be legally bound by these Terms from the time you submit an entry for the Promotion. Please retain a copy for your information. 

These Terms prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

The promoter of the Promotion is Weetabix Limited, Burton Latimer, Kettering, England, NN15 5JR (the ‘Promoter‘).  If you have any queries about the Promotion or these Terms, then please contact the Promoter by sending an email to weetabixthechase@welcometofrank.com.

1. This Promotion is open to UK residents (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man)  aged 18 or over, excluding employees, contractors, representatives, agents, officers or directors of the Promoter, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates,  marketing agencies, or to any of their immediate family members or persons living in the same household, whether or not related,  professional Instagram, Facebook or TikTok users, social media influencers or those who work in the food marketing or social influencer industry, or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion. 
2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.
3. Internet access and an email address is required.
4. In entering the Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Promotion before awarding a prize. 
5. The Promotion opens at 09:00 on 1 August 2024 and it will close at 23:59 on 12 September (the ‘Promotional Period’).
6. To Enter: during the Promotional Period, entrants will need to:
   1. visit: https://weetabix.co.uk/the-chase-prize-draw/;
   2. complete the form by filling in their full name and email address; and answer the question: ‘How do you have your Weetabix before a big day?’; and 
   3. tick to confirm they are 18 years old or over.
7. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person throughout the Promotional Period. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
8. The Prizes:
   1. x1 winner will receive:
      1. two (2) tickets to attend a recording of one (1) episode of The Chase at ITV’s studio Set during the week commencing 28 October 2024; and
      2. one (1) meet and greet session with one of the Chasers; and
      3. one (1) £250 cheque.
      4. (together ‘The Chase Prize’).
   2. x1 runner up will receive a cheque for £1,000 (the ‘Runner Up Prize’).
9. The Chase Prize additional information:
   1. Location: Elstree Studios, Shenley Rd, Borehamwood, Herts, WD6 1JG (the ‘Set’).
   2. The tickets are not physical tickets.  The winner’s name and that of their guest will be left at the entrance to the studio. Photographic ID will be required to confirm ID. Neither the Promoter nor ITV will be liable if the winner or their guest is not admitted because they did not bring their ID. Tickets will not be re-issued.
   3. The Chase episodes are recorded three times per day (10:00, 12:30, 16:00), Monday to Friday. The date and time will need to be agreed between the winner and ITV.
   4. Food and travel costs are not included.
   5. The winner and their guest must be at least 18 years old.
   6. The winner and their guest must comply at all times with any health and safety rules and/or restrictions given to them by ITV. The Promoter will not be liable for any injuries obtained whilst visiting the Set. 
   7. ITV retains the right to eject the winner or their guest from the Set at their discretion if the winner or their guest do not follow any rules or restrictions provided to them by ITV.  Neither the Promoter nor ITV will be liable for any missed opportunities caused by the winner’s or their guest’s unruly behaviour. Tickets will not be re-issued. 
   8. The winner must provide 48 hours’ notice to Weetabix if the tickets are not going to be used.  
10. Winner Selection: There will be one (1) winner and one (1) runner up.
    1. The Chase Prize: on 13 September 2024 the winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period by the Promoter’s agency partner, Frank Public Relations Limited.
    2. Runner Up Prize: on 13 September 2024 the winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period by the Promoter’s agency partner, Frank Public Relations Limited. The winner and runner up must be the owner of the social media account that posted the entry selected at random.
11. Winner and Runner Up Notification:
    1. The winner and the runner up will be contacted by email on 13 September 2024 and will have 7 days immediately following to contact the Promoter as directed in the message to confirm details (name, email address, postal address and age) in order to claim their prize. If the winner or the runner up does not respond within the 7-day period another winner or runner up will be selected using the same methodology as outlined above. Participants are encouraged to monitor their accounts during this time in case they are a winner or a runner up. 
    2. Entrants who have not won a Prize will not be notified.
12. Prize Acceptance:
    1. The Chase Prize: once eligibility for The Chase Prize is confirmed and it is accepted by the winner, fulfilment of the Prize will take place within 5 days of acceptance of the Prize. Any delay will be communicated to the winner. The portion of The Chase Prize outlined at clause 8(a)(i) and 8(a)(ii) will be fulfilled by ITV Studios; whereas the £250 cheque outlined at 8(a)(iii) will be fulfilled by the Promoter. It is the responsibility of the winner to provide correct, up-to-date details when accepting The Chase Prize.  The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winner failing to supply accurate information which then affects prize acceptance or fulfilment of the prize.
    2. Runner Up Prize: once eligibility for the Runner Up Prize is confirmed and it is accepted by the runner up, fulfilment of the Runner Up Prize will take place within 28 days of acceptance of the prize. Any delay will be communicated to the runner up. The Prize will be fulfilled by the Promoter. It is the responsibility of the runner up to provide correct, up-to-date details when accepting the Prize.  The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the runner up failing to supply accurate information which then affects Prize acceptance or fulfilment of their Prize.
13. The Promoter monitors responses to this Promotion, including on all of the social posts which are connected to the Promotion. If any submissions, comments made on the social posts about the Promotion, or any previous posts made by an entrant are, or could be regarded, as being disrespectful or contain anything which is likely to, or could cause offence or distress towards other members of the Instagram, Facebook or TikTok community, then the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant from the Promotion. 
14. Provided no objection is received from the winner or runner up, a list containing the surname and county or region of residence of the winner and runner up and the prizes won will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks, on receipt of a self-addressed pre-paid envelope received by the Promoter at Weetabix Ltd, Burton Latimer, Kettering, NN15 5JR. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting weetabixthechase@welcometofrank.com.  We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
15. As someone who enters the Promotion, your use of Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok is subject to the platform’s terms and conditions. The Promoter will not accept any liability in this regard. 
16. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion to prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms, your entry will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
    1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or winners and/or runners up through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.
    2. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. 
    3. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
    4. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
    5. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed (i.e. one per entrant), or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
    6. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
    7. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms, the spirit of the Promotion or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s requirements. 
    8. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion. The Promoter will endeavour to provide reasonable notice in the event of cancellation, modification or suspension of the Promotion, setting out the reason(s) for such. 
17. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. 
18. No cash or other alternative prizes will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
19. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, in which case its liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.  Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
20. The Promoter may request that the winner and runner up participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at each winner’s and the runner up’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance. The Promoter may, but is not obliged, to use the winner’s and runner up’s name and image in connection with such publicity, subject to the winner’s and runner up’s consent. 
21. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the Promotion. The Promoter cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to https://weetabix.co.uk/the-chase-prize-draw/.
22. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
23. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries/claims. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
24. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent participation in the Promotion. 
25. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used as set out in the Promoter’s Promotion Privacy Notice, available at https://weetabix.co.uk/the-chase-prize-draw/. 
26. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
27. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
28. These Terms are be governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
