We’re proud to say all our Weetabix Original wheat is sourced within a 50-mile* radius of our Weetabix Mills in Burton Latimer. 

Commitment to our sourcing goes well beyond reducing food miles. It’s all about supporting our brilliant farmers in the local area who pour their passion in to every ‘Bix to produce the best wheat and whose hard graft is at the heart of every box!

In fact, we’re SO passionate about our wheaty world, that we’re calling on the UK Government to celebrate and protect the 50 miles radius that our grains are grown in! Why? It’s our iconic golden grain and our Weetabix way that make every breakfast so special and we want to mark that by declaring the land it comes from as a destination in its own right!

That’s why we’re asking the government to create ‘Weetabixshire’ the first NEW county in decades. Our home and the land of beautiful Bix, where passion, persistence, and a desire to make breakfast brilliant rules every day.
